DESCRIPTION
Cetirizine is primarily an allergy medication.

POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS
Headache, drowsiness, insomnia, fatigue, abdominal pain, dry mouth, diarrhea, nausea, nosebleeds, sore throat, bronchospasm.

CAUTIONS
  • Inform your doctor if you have an allergy to hydroxyzine, glaucoma, peptic ulcer, or urinary retention.
  • Use with caution if you have kidney or liver dysfunction, if you are elderly, or if you are a nursing mother.
  • May cause drowsiness; use caution in tasks which require alertness.
  • Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients less than 6 months have not been established.
