DESCRIPTION
Cetirizine is primarily an allergy medication.
POTENTIAL SIDE EFFECTS
Headache, drowsiness, insomnia, fatigue, abdominal pain, dry mouth, diarrhea, nausea, nosebleeds, sore throat, bronchospasm.
CAUTIONS
Inform your doctor if you have an allergy to hydroxyzine, glaucoma, peptic ulcer, or urinary retention.
Use with caution if you have kidney or liver dysfunction, if you are elderly, or if you are a nursing mother.
May cause drowsiness; use caution in tasks which require alertness.
Safety and efficacy in pediatric patients less than 6 months have not been established.
